Autumn is the best season for all gourmets, food lovers, and food lovers.
Among the many specialties found in Tuscany, a special mention must go to the porcini mushrooms from Garfagnana, the mountains surrounding Lucca.
So, we can't help but prepare them in a variety of ways:
- We start with a delicious porcini carpaccio, San Miniato EVO oil, and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano cheese.
- We continue with homemade egg tagliolini paired with porcini ragù.
- We finish with a grilled sirloin topped with sautéed porcini mushrooms.
The porcini mushrooms can be paired with wines from the Terre di Pisa, Chianti Classico, Bolgheri, and Montalcino regions, all of which are on the wine list selected by AIS sommelier Gioele Di Gianni.
